Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander psychologists are encouraged to join AIPA. At this stage, membership of AIPA is restricted to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander psychologists.
Full membership is available to those who have completed a psychology degree and achieved registration with the relevant Psychology Board.
Associate membership is available to those who have completed a psychology degree and who are undergoing supervised practice toward registration with the relevant Psychology Board.
Graduate student membership is available to those who have graduated with a psychology degree but who have yet to begin supervised practice toward registration as a psychologist.
A Statutory Declaration re Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander background is required to join AIPA.
There is no cost to join AIPA.
