Paul graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) Honours, and a Bachelor of Arts (Aboriginal Studies and Sociology).

Professional Experience

Paul started work with the NSW Department of Community Services in 2005 as part of a Cadetship program. This offered on the job experience during university holidays while he was finishing his degree. Paul graduated at the end of 2007 and started with DoCS full-time in 2008. His role was to provide psychological assessment and intervention for children in out-of-home care; to consult with staff on psychological issues and to provide training to staff and carers.

Paul is one of two inaugural recipients of the Charlie Perkins Scholarship, which funds postgraduate study at Oxford University for those of Aboriginal descent. Paul is undertaking a PhD in experimental psychology.
