Paul graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) Honours, and a Bachelor of Arts (Aboriginal Studies and Sociology).
Paul started work with the NSW Department of Community Services in 2005 as part of a Cadetship program. This offered on the job experience during university holidays while he was finishing his degree. Paul graduated at the end of 2007 and started with DoCS full-time in 2008. His role is to provide psychological assessment and intervention for children in out-of-home care; to consult with staff on psychological issues and to provide training to staff and carers.
