Clinton has an Honours degree in Psychological Science and is an Intern Psychologist in NSW.
Clinton is currently working for Kalwun Aboriginal Health service on the Gold Coast. He is actively involved with improving allied health services for Indigenous clients in the greater Gold Coast area.
Clinton is an accredited Instructor of Indigenous Mental Health First Aid training and also conducts guest lecture, seminar and tutorial classes for tertiary institutions on implementing Indigenous based content into main stream courses, and conducts cultural awareness training with Allied Health students who will be engaging with Indigenous peoples.
He has also conducted several guest lectures for different degrees at Griffith on Indigenous or cross cultural issues.
Clinton recently appeared before the Senate Affairs Committee Inquiry Into Suicide in Australia to present AIPA's views on this issue.
Clinton is interested in social welfare and education.
