Yolonda Adams


Yolonda is a registered Psychologist and graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology from the Northern Territory University in 1999. 

Professional Experience

Yolonda has experience in the public and private sector. She has worked with Vietnam Veterans and at the same time branched into private practice.  In 2007 Yolonda worked with the Department of Justice at the Darwin Correctional Centre and in 2009 she worked with Top End Mental Health Services.

Yolonda currently works for the Indigenous Wellbeing Centre who provide a range of primary health and community services to support and improve the wellbeing for both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous community members.  Yolonda's program focuses on providing early intervention and prevention services for Indigenous children and parents/caregivers/kinship carers.

Areas of Interest / Expertise

Yolonda's interest area is Indigenous Mental Health and Cultural Psychological assessment and intervention.
